Fans react as Paul Okoye attacks Davido for interfering in family feud

The new drama in the families of defunct P-Square members, Peter and Paul Okoye, began on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, when the twin brothers celebrated their birthdays. Lola Omotayo had taken to her Instagram page to remind her husband and his twin that they would remain brothers despite their feud.

The mother of two shared pictures of the twins and wrote, “To the twins, whether you like it or not, you are brothers. You are not only brothers, you are twins. I wish you both a very happy birthday. Life is short, so make the best of it. Respect and love should be sacrosanct…”

However, barely a day after, Paul, also took to social media to insinuate that Lola was being manipulative.

In posts on his Instagram page, he wrote, “At the age of almost 50, you think you can still be manipulative and always try to be in control as usual. Well, I’m not there anymore. Jude is also not there anymore, which was exactly how you wanted it.

“Aunty, for four years, we haven’t spoken, but every November 18, you come out as usual…

“They don’t know the evil things you do behind closed doors, while outside, you try to act like an angel. Anyway, it is social media era, what do I expect?

“You know me very well and you know I don’t pretend, so continue doing what you are doing. I’ve never said anything because it’s family. Let your guilt deal with you.”

This was even as pop star, Davido, took to Instagram to berate those who attended the birthday parties of the twin brothers separately. However, Davido’s interference did not go down well with Paul. He wrote on social media, “On what level and audacity do you have to insult my friends? Has it come to this? I am highly disappointed with (sic) you. You don’t have the right to insult my family and friends. For your information, 90 per cent of those that came to mine still went to his and I respect their decisions.”

Meanwhile, fans have also expressed their views on the brothers’ relationship.

Ademide added, “Every year, it is the same thing. May God settle their problem.”
